Inside Indore , there is a lack of proper public transport. The Nagar sevas and Tempos are often overcrowded and highly uncomfortable. However, recently the municipal corporation has launched Indore city bus, which is good and covers maximum area of Indore. The local busses are supposedly (and arguably) the best in India. They are equipped with GPS device to track them. The seats have been arranged in variable level, so the back seaters wouldn't have difference in quality of journey as compared to front seaters. Each bus has nicely dressed and well mannered drivers and conductor who would greet you in English/Hindi. The bus stops have digital display to show the arrival and departure timings for various routes from that particular stop. |
