Bada Ganpati in Indore is regarded as the largest Ganpati stature in the world. A sacred site flocked by the devotees in large numbers, the temple was built in the year 1875 under the reign of Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar. The mammoth deity measures eight meters in length from head to foot.
